Malta National Aquarium has teamed up with a number of NGOs and organisations in order to help spread awareness of Marine conservation and issues related to our local marine environment.
Pacu fish
Pacu fish are related to Piranha. However, they don’t have the same teeth: piranhas have pointy and sharp teeth while Pacu have square and flat teeth. Pacu are omnivorous, meaning that they can eat everything! We feed them with small fish, broccoli and beans!
